
Jaclyn Bowen is a food safety and quality systems engineer and executive director of Clean Label Project, the nonprofit that tests consumer products for heavy metals, pesticide residues, and industrial contaminants. She previously held standards-development and executive roles at NSF International, a WHO Collaborating Centre — including general manager of Quality Assurance International, the largest domestic USDA organic certifier, and director of the division that brought the Non-GMO Project and Certified Gluten-Free programs to market. She holds an MPH from the University of Michigan and an MS in quality engineering. At ERRA she works alongside Joe across the ERRA Standard, contributing to its criteria, scoring, and verification requirements.
